Fun game Big domino Garden trains fine motor skills and logical thinking even in toddlers. There are many things in the garden that children can discover! On the front side, there are pictures of animals, gardeners, and their tools to assemble. On the back side, you will find dots made from various types of fruit – ideal for domino play. The set includes 28 large double-sided sturdy pieces measuring 12 x 6 cm made from 2 mm thick cardboard. Before starting the game, always prepare all 28 cards in one version, i.e., turn all cards face up either with pictures or with dots represented by different types of fruit.It contains tips for various game variants.
1. Picture domino contains 11 different motifs depicting scenes from the garden. Your task will be to place your card next to the first or last card in the row that is already on the table. Cards can be placed together in two ways. You can:a) connect a card with the same motif (watering can, hens, doves)b) complete the picture if the motif consists of two parts (cat, gardener, beekeeper,greenhouse, bicycle, wheelbarrow, tree, flowers).
2. Classic domino with dots (numbers), which we replaced with various types of fruit. This version serves for many classic domino games.
3. Use the cards for initial counting exercises: show cards that contain, for example, one apple, two pears, or seven cherries. For example, show on your fingers how many pears, strawberries, or cherries are in the picture. Name all types of fruit. Describe where they grow, when they ripen, how they taste, and how we use them in the kitchen.
4. Try to create longer rows of picture domino. Guide the children to carefully observe which ends of the cards can connect to each other. Can you find the right combination of cards to assemble a row of all 28 cards?
5. Classic domino is a game for two to four players. Classic domino has many game variants. The instructions include the basic game variant. Those interested in other game variants can use the internet. You will definitely find a variant that entertains you the most and meets your needs.
6. Pictures of various types of fruit can serve as templates for painting and drawing. Place the cards with fruit drawings in front of the child and ask them to try to imitate the drawings.
7. Older children can try drawing motifs from the other side of the cards. You can lay the cards on the table and try to draw individual motifs into a large joint picture.
