KukiKuk 80004 Veliko spominsko igro Živali na dvorišču
Fun educational game Vééliké pexeso Zvieratká na dvore teaches the youngest children to discover the world of their favorite friends. The set includes 24 pieces of cards measuring 11 x 11 cm made of 2 mm thick cardboard.
In the attached brochure, you will also find tips for parents and educators on further use of the card images plus other game variants.
1. First pair search
Select 6 different cards from the set and place them face up. Give the child the second cards from the pair. Ask them to match the cards correctly. Gradually increase the number to 9 cards, and then to all 12 cards. When pairing the cards into pairs, you can gradually add more tasks: What are the names of the animals? Who has fur? Who has feathers? Who has hooves? Who has paws? Who has a beak? Have fun imitating the sounds of individual animals. Some animals make sounds with their movements, imitate them (the horse clops its hooves, the cat scratches at the door, the rabbit thumps in the hutch). Practice the names of the whole animal family: hens – chick – rooster; goat – kid – billy goat. Create various diminutives for the names of the animals: they are cute and have a greater emotional touch.
2. First coloring pages
Choose one animal. Place the card on the table, give the child paper and crayons. Ask the child to try to paint this animal according to the picture on the card. Be creative: come up with more ways to use the large pictures on the cards.
3. Stories
Tell a short story about the animal your child chooses. Come up with increasingly difficult questions, talk about what the animals look like, where they live, how they move. Do they run, jump, fly, or swim? What kind of fur do they have? Example questions: which animal has horns? Cow, goat. Who has feathers? Who has hooves?
4. Pair search – attention exercise
For the youngest players, you can start with the cards laid face up, mixed up. Teach the children to gradually group the cards and match the correct pairs. Choose 3 different pairs from the set and place them face up. Gradually increase the number of pairs: 6 pairs, 9 pairs, and then all 12 pairs.
5. Pair search – we play classic pexeso
For younger children, prepare a smaller number of cards: first 3 pairs, later 6 pairs, etc. Explain to your child that it is fun to find two identical pictures. The one who collects the most pairs wins.
Additional games
Use the strength and durability of the cardboard cards to build various houses and towers. You can use other suitable objects and toys in the construction.
