Build a model of the legendary dining car of the famous Orient Express, well known for the armistice in Compiegne.
The car is one of the most significant symbols of both world wars, but it is also intrinsically linked to the railway, luxury, and good style. After the complete defeat of France in the campaign in 1940, the Germans found the vehicle and forced the defeated to sign the armistice there.
This only emphasizes how much the roles have turned since the first armistice. On June 22, 1940, the German-French armistice was signed, after which the car was transported to Berlin as an extremely valuable war prize affecting German morale and a symbol of superiority over France.
It stood in front of the Berlin Cathedral as a monument to victory.
The package contains 2001 bricks and 2 figurines.
